BIOGRAPHY

Sewela Prudence Mthembu - (Founder & Managing Director)

Sewela Prudence Mthembu is the founder, owner and Managing Director of Prudent Construction & Project Management Solutions Pty. She is a qualified Metallurgical Engineer who holds a B-Tech and a National Diploma in Metallurgical Engineering. She is a product of Modikwa Platinum Mine Metallurgist Graduate Programme . She shortly worked as a metallurgical trainee for a coal company then her ambition led her to starting her own company, which she’s been running successfully with the support of her multi-skilled team for over 5 years. She has experience in preventative maintenance planning of hydro-cyclones, sampling as well as plant efficiency determination, maintenance and inspection. She is self-motivated with good work ethics and excellent interpersonal, communication and problem solving skills. She has project management skills, sound technical knowledge and team effectiveness and coaching. Her logical approach to business has landed the company to serve giant companies like, Glencore, Anglo American and Denel. Sewela takes pride in what she delivers, can easily adapt to different situations and has willingness to learn new things. She is passionate about giving back to the community hence she has plans of creating a CSI department in the company.

Pheza Mthembu - (Technical Director)

Pheza Mthembu is the Technical Director of Prudent Construction, a qualified Mechanical Engineer with a combination of experience in the engineering field. This was acquired through his experience of working for the mining industry, manufacturing and construction of steel products. He also has experience of working for a company involved in quarry related blasting activities which includes the blasting of cuttings as required for infrastructure related work. He holds a National Diploma and a B-Tech in Mechanical Engineering from Vaal University of Technology. He has skills and experience in Project Management, team effectiveness and coaching, preventative/planned maintenance, reliability engineering, Root Cause Analysis, problem solving and good Communications skills. He has a track record to conduct plant monitoring, maintenance of equipment and the reviewing of safety standards. He is a self-starter who’s objective ,hard working and has good customer care skills. His approach to tasks is with enthusiasm and eagerness to excel towards the level of service he gives to his customers.

Ntombi Goba - (Marketing Director)

Ntombi Goba is the Marketing Director of Prudent Construction & Project Management Solutions Pty, an aviation professional with more than 15 years’ experience in the South African Aviation space; both in the commercial and operations environment.She holds an (MBA) Master of Business Administration (Regenesys Business School), Route Network Development Diploma (IATA), Cost & Management Accounting Diploma (Vaal University of Technology and she’s also an alumnus of the Management Advancement Programme (MAP) by Wits Business School. She’s a professional MBA Graduate who is highly proficient in providing strategic planning expertise. Proven ability to develop and implement business processes. A team leader, who has excellent interpersonal and communications skills along with a profound respect for achieving goals. Highly adaptable to change and work extremely well across cross-functional teams. She possesses expert level scheduling and operations abilities, stakeholder management, good presentation skills and excellent time management skills. She has effective and efficient performance in tactical execution of short-term and long-term projects, group facilitation and coordination. She also brings the CSI experience to the company, which emanates from different projects that she has done in her community.

Vusi Goba - (Business Development Director)

Vusi Goba is the Site Manager for Prudent Construction & Project Management Solutions Pty. He has 12 years’ experience from the public service industry. He also worked as a Project Administrator for State Information Technology (SITA) and was in a team that was responsible for the implementation of the SASAMS at Gauteng schools. He worked as a Project Coordinator for Telkom SA and was responsible for implementation, execution and finalization of projects in the business services order management center. He was a Key Account Executive for Avis Car Rental and Moloko Information Technology as well as a sales executive for Armand Trollip Estate. He has extensive sales, public administration and customer service experience coupled with excellent project management skills and can meet targets beyond expectations. He has good communication and people’s skills; he has strategic planning and organising (small to large scale projects) and time management skills.
